Volunteers

Our Coaches

The Vipers Basketball Club enters more than 60 teams in the Gold Coast Junior Basketball League each summer and winter season and every team must have a coach.

The coach is responsible for preparing and running weekly training sessions, game strategy and management, communicating with players and parents and as a role model demonstrating high moral standards, sportsmanship and respect.

Team Manager

The team manager supports the coach by organising and communicating with the players and parents, confirming training and game times, preparing a score bench roster and passing on communications from team members or parents to the coach.

You do not need to have played basketball to successfully manage a team so this is a great way for parents to get involved.
